Sian O’Hanlon

Co-Founder and Principal Consultant 

My name is Sian O’Hanlon, and I am one of the co-founders here at Viridian Vision I have over 25 years of experience in sales leadership and client leadership roles, working for global organisations like Gartner, Microsoft and HPE.  My career with these companies has given me a rich experience and understanding of building high performing teams, as well as how to achieve excellence in client relationships & retention. 

Leadership 

Hiring and coaching the right sales talent and then nurturing and maintaining that talent to meet and exceed revenue targets is something I have extensive experience of. For many organisations this remains the holy grail of how to realise their growth ambitions and it can be a costly and time-consuming journey. My approach is one based on empathy and an understanding of the individual combined with an understanding of the needs of the organisation to create value & drive sustainable revenue at pace. 

C Level Engagement 

Throughout my career, I have specialized in engaging with C-level executives and boards, building loyal and long-standing relationships by consistently delivering business value across multiple different sectors. This excellence in all aspects of engaging with clients has enabled me to coach many teams on how to improve their executive presence and their overall impact with senior leaders, leading consistently to significantly improved results. 

Mentoring 

One of my greatest passions is mentoring and coaching individuals. I have had the honour of guiding many sales professionals, helping them advance to promotions and to new stages of their careers and their lives. Watching these individuals grow and succeed has been without doubt one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

With over 20 years of rich and diverse experience in the sales industry, I've had the privilege of leading sales teams and driving significant revenue growth for some of the world's most renowned companies, including Gartner, Cisco, Google, and Microsoft.

Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to work with both startups and established enterprises, providing me with a unique perspective and deep understanding of various market dynamics.

My journey has taken me from leading local teams to managing global sales efforts, where I've successfully opened up new markets and challenging accounts, consistently delivering many millions in revenue.

My core strength lies in building and nurturing high-performing sales teams and coaching to sell business value effectively and consistently at C Level.

Fundamentally, my approach is rooted in a deep understanding of both the art and science of sales, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution - whilst empowering and challenging my people to be the best versions of themselves.
